  1. Thinking Out Loud (Ed Sheeran)

I really like this song since the first time I heard it, and now with the music video is even better (Ed and the dancer are so cute, mostly Ed, that looks almost hypnotized by his lady).

It's easy to understand how this song and the lyrics is suitable for the game and for what I think about love. It's simply the love I would like to live day-by-day with the right guy.

A sweet, true, giant love, that renews itself day-by-day, it gets always stronger and makes your life perfect and at its possible best. Maybe an "accidental" love, that born casually, thanks to the smallest things, the smallest gestures.

Maybe I'm an incurably romantic, but I'm proud of my love-"disease" :p

  2. Amanda Seyfried – Gimme Gimme Gimme

Mamma Mia film easily is one of my favourite films ever. I chose this version over the original ABBA version because the lyrics is slightly different ("Is there a man out there/someone to hear my prayer" vs "There's not a soul out there/someone to hear my prayer")...and I prefer the tweaked lyrics because I really need a man at the moment....

  3. This song is about heroin addiction, "there she blows... pulsing through my veins... calls my name... no one else can heal my pain... chasing down my lane" its a wee bit obvious if you look at it! Absolutely brilliant song, even if it was written about heroin, as with all art its open to personal interpretation, if you want to read it as one of the most beautiful love songs ever written then thats what you do.

The LA's, 'There she goes', as the guy's were 100% "shmach edds" theres no ref to gurls/women etc, this form of addiction, fist thing that goes, well after a year or so, is your labido. Maybe through the fog of addiction, he/they were pining (pinning) after some "hottie"....? Doubt it though, gear WAS his/their love.

This song is without doubt 100% about Heroin but you have to understand that artists in many instances cannot come out and declare the true meanings, for commerical or private reasons. Its obvious as hell what its about, but its candy coating has been left to run to ensure its commerical success. A very clever song in that respect as it can be absorbed on two levels, but the second is most definitely the real one. The songwriter Lee Mavers is a known addict and recluse. His great musical success was affected by his addiction, but he did not deserve to have his ideas and hairstyle openly plagiarised by the untalented Noel Gallagher.

"She calls my name, pulls my train" - Always needing another hit as soon as the previous one wears off

"No-one else could heal my pain" - The misery of living in Liverpool or other northern regional cities during the Thatcher regime. The tragedy of Hillsborough. Having nothing but a temporary chemical high to combat the monotony. See also the Bangles/Katinka and the Waves song "Im Going Down to Liverpool(to do nothing all the days of my life)"

"And I just can't contain, This feelin' that remains" - The unsettling effects of going through an accidental overdose

"Chasing down my lane" - Hints at the experiences with drug dealers

"There she goes again" - This phrase echoes (The Echo is the main newspaper in Liverpool) the last season for Liverpool football club, which is the hometown of The La's. Last season Liverpool were inspired by the mad genius Suarez and came their closest to winning the league since the time that "There she goes" was written. They came close, but in the spirit of the song, the elusive trophy escaped their grasp. After one of the typically devastating defeats in the final weeks, the Liverpool captain delivered a rare, heartfelt speech only notable for the words "We go again", meant to inspire his teammates to raise their exhausted bodies for another effort, but ultimately remembered as the fitting slogan for the futility of the campaign. The futility of life in a northern town.

  4. Yes - Owner Of A Lonely Heart

Very simple. The title is an accurate description of my love life, the refrain is what I tell myself, and the band name is the answer if anyone should ask "Really?"

  5. Shaan - Tanha Dil

Translation of the main line: "Tanha Dil, Tanha Safar" = A Lonely Heart, A Lonely Journey

  6. Café Tacvba - Las Flores

    Ayyyyyy...
Come and tell me all those things,
ask me to take a seat beside you.
    I'll listen to your dreams
    with this ear.

And let me hold your hands,
    and give you some ilusions.
Oh, come and tell me a story
    that makes me feel good.

    I'll listen to you
    while this planet keeps silence,
and I'll stare at your eyes
as if they were the last in this country

    Ayyyyyy...
Let me see how you blossom
I'll draw you with five petals,
    five senses that take
    just a bit of you.

And six times to enjoy you
    under the same moon,
and nine more will still come
    before new flowers born.

    And if every star
    were a flower,
    I could give you
    a bunch of stars.

    Don't let the sun rise,
don't let the the night fall,
    don't let the sun rise,
just let me be with you.

    Huh huh,
    huh huh,
    huh huh,
    huh huh.

It's not that difficult to use google search ¬¬

I choose that song because had a strengh connection with folk and culture, and even was a hit in latin american,

  7. The Offspring - Leave It Behind

Does this sound like the sound of someone with a happy love life? There are some parts of me that I feel are a barrier to being loved which are the 'way of life I need to get over' and 'leave behind'. The 'rage' and 'grudge' aspects of the lyrics I imagine refer to how I feel about certain things I feel are beyond my control that I wish were different. I quite reconcile all the lyrics to my own situation, but most of them.

  8. ABBA - Does Your Mother Know?

All I can say is, sfar you're right.
zvonarevarulz' review - "I think you're creepy and need help." - Well thank you, first time I've been called creepy :|

At least James van der Beek likes it *sigh*

  9. Miguel Czachowski – Raag ‘n’ Ole

The song has no words because words get blown by the wind and cannot express what I feel inside. My partner is the guitar, I'm the sitar and, after my name is announced, I'm going to tell you who's the piano.

The point is, it all mixes quite smoothly, just like my love life.

  10. Kim Wilde - You Came

The words are pretty self explanatory - my other half changed the way I felt about myself and my sexuality. No one could love him more, and no one could take his place.

  11. Various Artists - Perfect Day

Guess my love-life is perfect - happy with my partner and happy with my life.

The thing that made me smile in Jen's reviews is that I could have a thousand things happen to me - 999 of them good and 1 bad and the one that's bad that would constantly eat away at me more than the 999 good.

  12. Sade - No ordinary love

I chose this song mainly because it's probably the saddest song I know and that is how I have felt recently, just sad and lonely.
