  1. I wanted to clarify that the song I sent is titled Stalker, and the group's name is You are My Everything.
That's what I read a few times, and it's confirmed in this lyric video, where the artist shared the lyrics in the comment section ( I assume to take the time to do so, it is them)

Here are the lyrics in the first comment, if anyone is interested:

  2. Julie Covington – The Things You Have To Do

The picture to me sums up a relationship that’s declined over the years. I see the woman looking in the mirror and reflecting upon that relationship. Unhappy with her life but too scared to make the break.

“How much of what you’re doing is have to – how much of what you’re doing is want to"

  3. Agnetha Falkstog - I Was a Flower

The song is about a woman reflecting on her relationship and what she has become compared to what she used to be, much like the woman in the picture, who seems to be looking at her reflection and no longer recognising the person looking back at her

  4. 10cc - Somewhere In Hollywood

When I first saw the picture I had a couple in a room as part of a classic film setting in Hollywood. 10cc loves their musical parodies and gives a narrative into the world of Hollywood. Some moments feel staged, and others more natural, just as it is when actors take on a role. Thus you get elements of both seriousness (the actor in character as part of the scene) and playfulness (the actor knows it is an artificial setting, they can manipulate their performance).

So when you look at the man and the woman in the photo, consider the mystery of the actors who are playing a scene. Serious yet playful. The song ends with 'it's crazy'...who could imagine some things achievable on a Hollywood set? The song could be as much a narrative from the perspective of such actors who have gone through a number of roles, or a story about film in Hollywood.
